This was a scam. When I went to store my bag they had never heard of stasher and they said their bag storage service was totally free

I have used Stasher twice to store my bags when visiting Paris with my family in August 2022. The storage location I selected was in a hotel, in central Paris, near the Louvre. The booking process could not have been easier! I secured the booking and got an instant confirmation by email. The storage location was great, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The bags were tagged and I received a token matching the tag number that I needed to show when collecting the bags. The bags were taken to a locked room so it felt it was very secure and I had absolutely no concerns or problems. The staff at the hotel even offered us some iced water as it was a hot day and gave some advice on best way to the train station we needed for onward journey. Could not fault the service, location, booking process or cost of storage. It enabled us to roam around Paris without the burden of the heavy bags! I would highly recommend and definitely use again! Thank you.

August 1: unable to retrieve my bag as scheduled because Stashpoint (3 Gordon Street, Glasgow) was under renovation
August 2: Stasher was unable to contact the host. I flew back to the US without the bag
August 3: Stasher found the bag in another, non-Stashpoint location, also in Glasgow
August 9: Stasher planned to send a representative to collect the bag but then decided to work with someone from the new location. This person was also difficult to reach
August 19: Bag was finally transferred to a courier service, and from there to DHL
August 24: Bag was delivered, intact to my home in the US
Some thoughts:
How does Stasher ensure its Stashpoints are reliable, or does it wait for reviews?
Once found, why did it take more than 2 weeks to transfer the bag to a courier company? (Suppose the bag had been lost in, say, the Outer Hebrides?)
All 3 people I dealt with at Stasher were courteous, even when I was frantic and grumpy on August 1st.
Stasher offered me a $50 Amazon card ‘for the inconvenience.’ But I had already spent about $40 on emergency clothes because my summer clothes were in the bag. Also, Stasher only reimbursed me $31 out of the $78 I had paid for its service

We had booked to use Stasher a week in advance. The process was very straightforward with plenty of options in London.
We had to cancel at short notice due to the transport strikes in London that day. Not only did I receive a very prompt and courteous reply from the venue but I was promised a full refund. The refund duly arrived only a day later. Very quick and efficient.
I can highly recommend this company and it’s service.

Very easy to find a location convenient to the station using the map on Stasher and very use to book and pay online. The price was very much cheaper than other companies who wanted an extortionate amount to store 2 suitcases for a few hours. Easy to find the actual Premier Inn Hub
East Market Street, Edinburgh. The person who took our luggage wasvery friendly and funny. A very lovely young man. The whole process was very simple and secure. He was still on duty when we collected our luggage and had us laughing non stop. Very easy process. Highly recommend.

I was scammed and still waiting for my refund. I will not trust this company ever again or recommend it to anyone

Please avoid at every cost , I went ahead even though there were plenty of bad reviews and I thought of giving them a try any way. I planned my visit to London to attend a concert in between an ongoing trip hence I had some luggage to drop because I didn’t wanted to carry it with me all the way , after booking the bag storage through Stasher.com my booking was refused by the host very rudely . The customer service is absolutely rubbish as I couldn’t get through anyone on the call and haven’t received any response on my email. Due to all of this mess I missed almost half of my concert and had to rush make alternate arrangements at a higher cost and in an unfamiliar city . Absolutely disgusted by the company and the overall experience.

This was the second time using stasher to store our luggage for the day while waiting to travel. The booking process is quick and easy. When we got to our booked place ( a premier Inn) they knew all about stasher and got our bags tagged and stored really quickly. Before stasher we had previously stored our bags at Edinburgh train stations own luggage store and it was much more expensive and actually took longer due to the que.

So happy that Stasher.com exists. Having just arrived from overseas, we needed somewhere to leave our 3 suitcases whilst we went on a mini-trip in the UK. I made a booking online with Stasher, paid in advance for the number of days we wanted them kept for us and chose the location. In this case it was the Premier Inn at Terminal 5...just gave the luggage to the Front Desk staff who gave us baggage tags to put on the bags and off we went..returned 3 days later, gave the tags to Front Desk and got our bags back. Superb service and so convenient.

The service blew me away. Never used a facility like it before so I didn't know what to expect, but it was perfect. Perfectly placed (just outside stunning town of Trogir and directly next to an air-conditioned shopping mall) and the host was fantastic. Came out to meet our taxi, wouldn't let us lift a finger as he took the bags, gave us a map of the town and some recommendations, sorted us a taxi to the airport for later in the day with a confirmed price and showed off his lovely dog (Joe) to the kids. Exceeded my expectations and then some. A credit to Stasher.
